How to set up a Feed drop campaign?
This article will present you Feed drop campaigns and how to book it on the adserver
Feed drop campaigns involve placing an entire episode from one podcast into another podcast's RSS feed.
This approach helps podcasts or brands to reach new audiences by distributing full episodes in different podcast feeds.
The branded episode is specifically inserted in second episode position. This episode will be marked as Sponsored ๐ฃ.
The following screenshot shows a feed drop campaign for BNP Paribas on Prisma Media's 120 Secondes Podcast.
To activate a feed drop campaign in your adserver, you must contact us first.
In the adserver, click on +Create Campaign.
Select Feed Drop Campaign.
Please note that Feed drop only works with Flat pricing
This means that you select a price for a specific period of time and during this period of time the sponsored episode will be displayed on the podcast.
The number of actual downloads will have not impact on the billing or the end date of your campaign.
Import your episod
To import your episode, you will need two things:
The adress of the RSS feed ๐ฎ
The RSS feed address depends on the hosting platform. For example, in Audion360, you can find it in the Podcast Library. You may need to check with the hosting provider of the sponsored podcast.

The GUID ๐
The GUID is the unique identifier for an episode. In the RSS feed, itโs found between the <guid></guid> brackets or <guid isPermaLink="false"></guid>
Example : <guid isPermaLink="false">18940b0f-4489-491a-85cd-7e710db4d5c6</guid>
You need to enter the code only, not the entire line with the brackets.
Guid can look like this :
18940b0f-4489-491a-85cd-7e710db4d5c6
5dbcd9430524f1bf85c63f63b0680cbfd6fa8e49
Once you have the GUID, enter it into the field and click Import Episode to ensure the correct episode has been inserted.
When your campaign has started, you can access the Report tab to monitor the performance of your campaign.
